Bohemian Romance with Boho Luxe & Co.

We talked with event Stylist Johanna, from Boho Luxe & Co about the inspiration benind this "Bohemian Romance" styled shoot and discussed some of the details of the day.

Q: What inspired this shoot?

A: Our inspiration for the Bohemian Romance shoot at The Acre, stemmed from our love for a neutral colour palette and showcasing what the space could transform into utilising it's existing features to make it feel like an extension of the venue.  Our vision for this event was to create a wedding style that felt bold yet soft, romantic and whimsical, and to inspire the modern bohemian bride to be.

Q: What role did Hueseeka play in the success of this shoot?

A: For this particular shoot I choose to work with alternate sized white and stone coloured pillar and cone candles to elevate the table setting, bringing the warm romantic flickering light to the table with different heights and dimensions. The thing I love about Hueseeka is the quality of all of their products, the large range of colours they stock and continue to work on to keep up with the current trends. I know that no matter the setting I can find a suitable product to help elevate any event I'm working on.

Although every single element plays an integral role in the overall outcome of this shoot, the key elements for this shoot were the flowers. They 100% make or break the overall style and feel of any wedding, shoot or event. Kylie from Wilde Botanicals certainly understood my vision and delivered on all levels. Other key elements to this particular shoot were not only the styling but the light. As we wanted to create 'Romance' light plays an important role to this. We selected lights shades from Out of the Dark Event Lighting to hang above the table setting immersed by a gorgeous floral installation, completed with an array of candles spilled across the table top and ceremony space.

A: Boho Luxe & Co is a boutique wedding and event planning & styling business located on the Gold Coast, servicing Byron Bay to Sunshine Coast and beyond.  Our services include Planning, Styling and On the Day Coordination for Weddings, elopements and Events. Our style is effortless and timeless. We love working with neutral and muted tones adding pops of colour, texture and warm candlelight to create a romantic, modern and whimsical feel to any event.
