Please note that Amaranthus stems may naturally shed fine fibres when handled or moved. This is a normal characteristic of Amaranthus, including fresh varieties. As our stems feature rich burgundy and green tones, any shedding may be more visible on light-coloured surfaces such as white florals, linens, or garments. We recommend handling with care and minimising direct contact where possible. If fibres are present, they can be gently removed using a hairdryer on a low, cool setting.

Care

Cleaning: Faux flowers should not get wet. Do not wash, spot clean with water, or use any damp cloths. If needed, lightly dust only. Exposure to moisture may damage materials, adhesives, finishes, or wiring.

Dusting: Gently remove dust regularly using a soft cloth, feather duster, compressed air canister, or a hair dryer on the lowest heat and speed setting, held at least 20cm away. This will help maintain their appearance and prevent build-up over time.

Arranging & Reshaping: Stems can be carefully adjusted by hand to achieve your preferred shape. Bend slowly and avoid forceful twisting to protect the internal wire structure. Handle with care to prevent loosening or breakage.

Water Use: These products are designed for dry use only. Do not place stems directly into water for extended periods. Prolonged contact with moisture may cause deterioration or discolouration.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light, humidity, and heat. When not in use, keep arrangements in protective packaging such as tissue paper or bubble wrap to help maintain their shape. Use sturdy boxes to prevent crushing during storage or transport.

Avoid: Do not submerge in water, expose to high heat, place near open flames, or use harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive products. Do not spray with perfume or water. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean.
