Taylor & Milan | Summergrove Estate
Taylor and Milan had a beautiful vision of a European garden party for their big day, effortless, warm, and surrounded by their loved ones. They said “I do” in the stunning chapel at Summergrove Estate before stepping into a celebration that felt timeless, romantic, and full of connection.
The Wedding Day

From the moment guests arrived, the compliments didn't stop.
“The styling captured everything I had envisioned: an old European garden, effortlessly romantic, warm, and full of connection. And the colour! It felt like a dreamy European garden dinner party.”
Behind the look was a considered planning process. With such a clear creative vision, Taylor's biggest hurdle wasn't deciding what she wanted, but translating it from screen to reality.
"Working out the placement and quantities of table decor was the most challenging part," Taylor shared. “From candles, bud vases, tablecloths, and runners, there were so many details to consider.”
“Hueseeka’s free downloadable tablescape guide genuinely saved me. The templates made everything clearer, kept me organised, and made budgeting and quantities far less stressful. I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.”

What inspired the selection of these pieces?

.
.
The palette came from Taylor's own home and garden, not from wedding imagery. Sage and olive greens, lavender tones, muted pinks, warm neutrals. Cohesion came through colour, texture, and meaningful detail, with a subtle nod to Milan's Croatian heritage woven throughout.

Did you have a Pinterest or mood board that inspired your table styling, and did the final look reflect that vision?

.
“Definitely. The inspiration was very much a ‘European garden dinner party’: soft draping, candlelight, layered textures, muted colours, and that effortless feeling of warmth and connection.”
Taylor drew inspiration from a mix of Pinterest imagery including weddings, interiors, gardens, and travel, deliberately staying away from anything overly trend-driven, that didn’t feel like them.
“The final look honestly exceeded what I had imagined. Seeing it all come together with the candlelight, textures, florals, and colour felt even more magical in person.”

.
.
Which detail stood out to you the most on the day?
“Definitely the candlelight glow. Sitting at our bridal table and looking out across a sea of candlelight, colour and happy faces is something I’ll never forget.
I remember counting down the days to see it all come together, and it somehow felt even softer and more romantic than I imagined.”

The Final Thoughts
For Taylor and Milan, the reception came alive once the room settled and the evening took on its own rhythm.
“Once the candles were lit and the food came out, the whole space came alive. It felt relaxed, loud, warm, and full of love... Exactly how I hoped our wedding would feel.”
After the reception entrance, first dance, and cake cutting, the couple moved straight into a traditional Croatian Kolo led by a live accordion player.
"It set the tone for the entire night: full of energy, love, connection and celebration from the very beginning."

Advice for Future Couples
Looking back, Taylor and Milan's advice to other couples is to stay grounded in what matters to the two of you. Be intentional about what you want as a couple and try not to get pulled into trends or outside opinions. Most importantly, enjoy the season of planning, it passes quickly.
“At the end of the day, something might not go perfectly—and that’s okay. Guests remember how your wedding felt: the love, the laughter, the conversations, the dancing, and the warmth in the room far more than tiny details going to plan.”

Taylor and Milan’s day is a beautiful reminder that thoughtful styling is about more than individual pieces. It's how every detail layers together to shape the feeling, the atmosphere and the memory of a day. From their considered colour palette to the soft candlelight and textured linen across the tablescape, every element reflected a clear and heartfelt vision brought to life. We feel so grateful to have been part of such a meaningful celebration, and to see our pieces contribute to a setting so personal, layered and full of love.
